款识：季平仁兄先生雅正，八十二老人兼巢沈卫。|钤印：绣水沈卫（白）、甲午翰林（朱）|释文：官阁联吟陪水部，短屏书梦寄湘君。|简介：沈卫，字友霍，号淇泉，晚号兼巢老人，亦署红豆馆主，系沈钧儒十一叔，浙江嘉兴人。清光绪十六年（公元1890年）进士，授翰林院编修。后任甘肃主考、陕西学政。善诗文，工书法，晚年寓居上海鬻字，名播江南，被推为翰苑巨擘。
