Anton Lock, British 1893-1970- Pirates capturing a woman; pen and black ink and watercolour, signed and dated 1913, bears label verso, 28.5x50cm (ARR) Provenance: from the portfolio in possession of the artist's family according the label attached to the reverse of the frame Note: Lock studied at the Westminster School of Art under Walter Sickert in 1910-1912, afterwards he went onto Bolt Court School, where he specialised in lithography and worked under Walter Bayes in 1912-1914 Please refer to department for condition report
