A Chinese carved wooden figure of a camel, northern Wei-Sui, some parts 300-500 AD with some more modern replacements and presented on a modern display stand, length 46cm, height 50cm. Additional Information The body of the camel appears to be early, but the legs, neck and head are of later date, there is damage to both humps, signs of old insect infestation which has casued rot, one leg is loose, the finish has a dry feel throughout, one ear is missing and general surface wear.
