A pair of Chinese porcelain hexagonal vases, 19th century, painted in underglaze blue with panels of figures holding flowers on a ground of leafy scrolls issuing from flowering lotus blooms, apocryphal underglaze blue four-character marks to bases, 25cm high (2)One has a small chip to upper rim, and a 1cm firing crack to rim. The other has a shallow chip to the foot rim, small areas of pitting and nibbles to the glaze, particularly to the edges.
