Jian Jiang (1610~1664), a native of Shexian County, Anhui, was the founding master of the Xin'an School of Painting. He and Cha Shibiao, Sun Yi, and Wang Zhirui were called "Haiyang's Four Houses". He also worked as a poetry book and loved to write plum and bamboo, but his life was mainly named after the landscape.
