Painted with a continuous chinoiserie scene above a gilt border depicting figures alternating with flowering bushes and animals, the cover with a large chinoiserie scene within a gilt cartouche embellished with Böttger lustre and iron-red scrollwork, gilt scrollwork borders inside rims, gilt-edged rims, 12cm across, K.P.M. and crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue, gilt numeral 18. to both (2)
