A Chinese white jade plaque dating from the early-Ming dynasty. The plaque features a 4-clawed dragon among vine tracery. Dimensions: 1 7/8 inches tall X 2 5/8 inches wide; 4.8 cm tall X 6.7 cm wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: Overall good condition with a few small chips and natural variation to the stone. Provenance: From Loma Linda University in California; donated from the estate of a former professor.
