A Shiwan kiln statue of a drunken Luohan dating from the 18th century or possibly earlier. The Luohan holds a hulu-form vessel in his hands. Dimensions: 15 1/4 inches tall X 7 inches wide; 38.7 cm tall X 17.8 cm wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: The hulu vessel has broken and been repaired. The statue is in otherwise good condition. Provenance: From a Toronto, Canada collector who collected all of the items in Hong Kong prior to the 1970s.
