Of rectangular section, the ewer is divided into three sections by raised bands decorated with scrolling floral pattern. Each of the lower two sections is mounted with reticulated jade plaques and turquoise, coral, and lapis lazuli beads, further surrounded by raised floral pattern and border with repeated bands of ram horns, flanked by a spout incised with floral scrolls and a handle with two bead finials.
