此瓶器型典雅，釉色洁白细腻，口沿及足部边饰讲究规范，纹饰描绘精美，瓶颈对饰蝠耳，瓶身粉彩刻画入微。主体描绘麒麟送子故事，反映中国祈子风俗。中国民间认为麒麟为仁义之兽，是吉祥的象征。俗传积德人家，求拜麒麟可生育得子。晋王嘉《拾遗记》中描述，孔子诞生之前，有麒麟吐玉书于其家院，此典故成为麒麟送子的来源。粉彩人物造型生动，形态各异，描绘精细，面部表情生动，色调典雅别致，用色浓淡层次分明，风格独特，注重传神，使主题人物更为突出，并达到了格调清新的艺术效果。陈*泰造
