Condition report: Oil on canvas which has been lined. The canvas has good tension and is in plane. The paint layer is in a good, stable condition. There are areas of retouching around the edges of the canvas as well as in the sky; the darker clouds at the top of the picture are possibly overpainted. The thin varnish layer is clear, even and glossy. The frame has several losses to the mould and gilded surface. The glazing is dirty inside and out.
