An Austro-Hungarian silver large twin handled rounded rectangular tray by Vinzenz Mayer's Söhne (1865-1922), Vienna 1872-1922 .800 standard, with bold double scroll handles, a raised scroll, flower and shell rim, engraved with scroll foliage, triform leaves and a monogram, on a mahogany backing frame, 91cm (36 in) long, loaded Mayer's Sons were one of the leading silversmiths and jewellers of the Austrian empire and were holders of an Imperial warrant.
