霁红釉创烧于明初景德镇御器厂，清代承袭烧造，由于掌握窑内气氛等工艺难度较大，呈色鲜艳纯正者，十分难得，一向受到鉴赏家青睐。 本拍品依传统天球瓶之器型而作，通体施霁红釉，颜色浓艳均匀，釉面微现橘皮纹，刻意追仿明初红釉质感，为清代霁红釉品种之佳作。
