Lot of four (2)1968 and (2) 1969 Miami Dolphins AFL game highlight 16mm film reels. Provenance: All acquired from the equipment manager Dan Dowe. From the Dan Dowe estate. Dan Dowe was the Miami Dolphins equipment manager for all five of the franchise's Super Bowl appearances. Dowe joined the team in 1966 and spent 20 seasons with the team retiring in 1985 with two Super Bowl championships rings. Former players remember him as a hard worker and practical joker. Each Reel case measures 13 1/4" in. length. Good condition with mild wear consistent with age. Unknown to consignor or Hill Auction Gallery what footage is on the reel or if the footage is viewable.
