Created in traditional Chinese ink painting technique, the ink shade changes exquisitely and meticulously, and the distant view is lightly painted, serene, refreshing and dreamlike. The mist cloaks the river where a boat floats, pervading ethereal atomsphere. The hanging falls at the bank of Yangtze river are boundlessly magnificent. Marvellous rocks on mountains contend in beauty and fascination. Pine trees proudly stand upright in the rain. On top edge of the painting it writes 'Pearl of Yangtze River', and lines of poems about the Three Gorges with vigorous handwriting, along with sign and seal of the author, Zhou Meng.
