墨盒四方，精炼黄铜材质。盒盖子母口衔接，錾刻兰花竹枝，内填绿彩，栩栩如生，极具文雅气息。旁刻题文，分别为“翰臣仁兄大人清赏，弟王树常敬赠”和“临风自相悦。师曾写”，配“师曾”款。盒底另书“工”及“荣宝”款。 陈师曾，又名衡恪，号朽道人、槐堂，江西义宁(今修水)人。湖南巡抚陈宝箴孙。留学日本归国后从事美术教育工作，1913年到北京，历任北京各大学教授。善诗文、书法，尤长于绘画、篆刻。陈师曾是吴昌硕之后革新文人画的重要代表。 国有文物商店旧藏1件
