带板以和阗白玉为材，精白玉料，温润厚实，表面泛玻璃光泽。器呈长方形，四面起边框，通体纹饰双层镂雕。底层为卷草纹，面纹盘曲一条五爪升龙，龙头较大，双眼似戴眼镜，火焰眉，如意形鼻似猪鼻，张口露齿，长角后翘，鬃毛飘洒。龙身十分细长，S形盘绕，装饰斜菱格纹。四足撑开，富有张力，爪似风车。带板四角分别装饰玉磬、喜鹊及莲花，寓意喜庆。整体工艺复杂，品相佳美，为典型明代中后期玉带板上品。
