An open face silver cased verge movement pocket watch signed D.D. Neveren, London, late 18th century.
White enamel dial with black Roman numerals signed D.D. Neveren / London. Verge movement on square pillars, with silver dust cover, engraved signature: DD / Neveren London. Movement most probably of Netherland’s origin with spurious British signature. On the front plate stamped number 123. Silver case with illegible hallmarks and number 87, visible clockmaster’s notes, on top part stamped 2 / 2II.
Dimensions: diameter - 57 mm, height including crown and bow - 85 mm. Weight – 117 g / 4,1 oz.
Condition – dial in good condition with minor marks and scratches, glass present, movement in working order not tested in longer time, not guaranteed. Case in very good condition for the age, minor scratches and old repair, clean. Glass with minor scratches. Winding key missing.
