century Rare and important double-sided carved and openwork huali screen composed of a round porcelain plaque with decoration of the green family of warriors surrounded by a Coromandel lacquer frieze with vases and flowerpot decorated with flowers and prunus. The reverse side is composed of a round Coromandel lacquer plaque with an animated pavilion decoration, itself surrounded by a Coromandel lacquer frieze with prunus decoration.
The screen rests on six feet with elephant head decoration. The centre is decorated with squirrels playing in vineyards.
