These three frescoes are part of the exceptional decoration of the House of Gilbert Périer in Brussels, which Paul Delvaux created from 1954 to 1956 in the taste of antiques, at the request of its owner Gilbert Périer (former director of Sabena, collector and important patron). Our three works presented here have been dedicated by the artist at the Vlierhof restaurant in Saint-Idesbald, his home town.
