鸟笼呈正方体，色红褐而有光晕，整观玲珑精美。通体笼丝以挺拔的紫竹丝条制成，笼丝纤细，打磨浑圆，四角笼丝稍粗，包浆古润。笼内中部设横枨多柄，为鸟雀落脚之地。笼钩、鸟食罐等配件一应俱全，所用有青花瓷、瘿木等，材质与装饰效果具佳，显示此笼断非出自市集匠者之手，而应乃文人雅士闲暇之作。整器用料考究，出身不凡，朴素雅致，彰显养鸟之人悠然快哉的意趣心境。 品相良好
