A substantial gold earring with later suspension hook, twisted ropework band looped to connect to a domed shield with applied filigree coils and granules; beneath, a gusseted collar and cluster of gold spheres with granule ornament of radiating sprays and vertical granule bands, with later hook fitting to allow it to be worn. 4.04 grams, 65mm (2 1/2").
