An iridescent blue glass lidded pyxis with drum-shaped body, three applied lug feet below, a circumferential band of applied eye motifs to the body, an applied female mask to the upper edge, possibly Venus; narrow opening to the top; a conical lid with wide rim and discoid handle. 62 grams, 72mm high (2 3/4"). Property of a London gentleman; formerly with the Mahboubian Gallery, London, UK; acquired prior to 1972.
