4th-6th century AD. A Christian ceramic oil lamp, sub-triangular in shape, large circular filling hole with raised lip and shallow channel at base; round mouth; basal ring; the lamp features a raised cross fourchée on its shoulder between the filling hole and mouth, and raised Greek(?) lettering around the shoulder which reads: May the light of Christ shine on you”.
