是书为光绪十年（1884年）湘阴郭氏岵瞻堂刻本《名贤手札》，为郭庆藩辑晚清重臣骆秉章、曾国藩、胡林翼、沈葆桢、李鸿章、左宗棠、彭玉麟、曾国荃等致郭昆焘之手札百余通，摹刻而成，几可乱真。郭昆焘深负戎略，于咸丰间参湘为张亮基、骆秉章等幕僚，与当世名臣交往甚笃，由此信札可作管窥，具有相当高的艺术和史料价值。前有瞿鸿禨序，后有郭嵩焘、郭庆藩跋，版心镌“岵瞻堂摹刻”。此本印工品相皆佳，较诸传本尤有胜之。
