是为北魏碑志名品，刻于北魏熙平二年（公元517年）。刁氏是渤海世族，此志记述刁遵家世政绩。此墓志于清早期在河北省南皮县一废寺址出土，右下角出土时已残，缺150余字，中间漫漶20余字。乾隆二十七年乐陵刘克纶从友人处访得，并以木板补残缺处，刻跋于其上，不久又毁，再以石补。后经盐山叶氏、南皮高氏及张之洞等人收藏，现藏山东省博物馆。 《广艺舟双楫》评曰：“《刁遵志》如西湖之水，以秀美名寰中。”
