Group of 6 Chinese jade and silver pieces. Includes a small spinach jade bowl dating from the 19th century and with a silver stand with 4 feet; the bottom is stamped with "Yamanaka Sterling, Made in China." A cloisonne box with a jade plaque insert and dating from the late 19th century; the round jade plaque is carved with cutouts of flowers. A group of objects in an old box with a cloisonne opium pipe dating from the 19th century. The opium pipe has jade elements. The box has a fabric lid, and contains a pair of ornamental fingernail covers inlaid with jade and a small carving of 2 ladies. Dimensions: bowl-1 1/4 inches tall X 1 3/4 inches wide; 3.2 cm tall X 4.4 cm wide. Box- 1 1/4 inches tall X 5 1/4 inches wide; 3.2 cm tall X 13.3 cm wide. Opium pipe- 8 inches tall X 1/2 inch wide; 20.3 cm tall X 1.3 cm wide. Box for pipe- 1 inch tall X 4 inches wide; 2.5 cm tall X 10.2 cm wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: The jade bowl is in good condition with a few natural seams and inclusions in the stone. The interior metal for the cloisonne box shows heavy oxidation, and there is a chip to the cloisonne in one top corner and on the back. The fingernail covers are missing inlaid stones, and the box is worn with several holes.
