A pair of Chinese famille rose plates dating from the early 19th century. The plates depicts scholars items and auspicious symbols with a 6-character mark on the bottom of the plates. Dimensions: 8 inches diameter X 1 1/4 inches tall; 20.3 cm diameter X 3.2 cm tall. All measurements are approximate. Condition: Small chip in the rim of one plate. Provenance: From a private collection in Maryland.
