A Chinese porcelain wucai vase dating from the 19th century. The main front and back panels depict a phoenix and Qilin amongst flowers. The surrounding 4 panels depict scholar's items against red geometric flower tracery. Dimensions: 17 1/4 inches tall X 6 1/2 inches wide; 43.8 cm tall X 16.5 cm wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: Extensive glaze chips. Provenance: From a collection in Southern California.
