A Japanese Satsuma coffee service by Kinkozan, Meiji period, comprising thirteen cups, fifteen dishes, a sucrier, and cream jug, each decorated in gilt with flora and butterflies, each marked Kinkozan to base, largest item 10cm diameter (30 pieces) Glued repair to handle of cup, one cup is broken, some dishes are repaired from a clean break using staples, portion around the rim and foot of one cup is missing, small chip and loss to one cup, some wear to enamels - particularly the gilt.
