Jan Zaroffe (1888-1952). A carved wooden bust of an orthodox Jew, signed and inscribed Krynica 1933, height 9.75in. CONDITION: One or two tiny nicks to the wood, the original bark has been retained around the integral base and this is flaking a little, a fine hairline crack from the centre of his forehead down to his left nostril, another fine crack in the timber in the base just below beard.
