A pair of ormolu figures of putti holding flowers and a sickle, standing upon naturalistic circular bases and rouge marble plinths, height 20.5in. diameter of bases 8in. CONDITION: Both in a fairly high state of polish but with some matting and darker toning in the recesses, some scattered small pit marks and fine su***ce dents, scratches and dirt marks commensurate with age which look to be early to mid 20th century, touches of verdigris showing around the bases, both marble plinths in good order.
