Circle of Sir Henry Raeburn (1756-1823) oil on canvas Portrait of a mother and child 35 x 26.75in. CONDITION: Oil on canvas which remains tight, under glass but paint beneath looks very dark and dirty with fine but stable craquelure running through much of the paint though no sign of any damages or losses, housed in an ornate giltwood acanthus frame which is now rather dirty with numerous small losses, back is boarded over, assorted old labels one of which give the name Lady McKenna.
