提要：汉延光二年(123年)刻。铭文记述鲧和大禹治水事迹。篆书与《少室石阙铭》近似，惟字体稍小，体势方古。康有为《广艺舟双楫》云：“茂密浑劲，莫如《少室》、《开母》，汉人篆碑，只存二种，可谓世之鸿宝，篆书之上仪也。”阙位于河南登封嵩山南麓**峰下。
