A 7-character Chinese calligraphy couplet in ink on pink and gold-flecked paper by Pu Ru. The couplet has two seals and a dedication to Shufang. It is mounted on a silk backing and framed. Dimensions are: 23 in. tall X 5 in. wide, 58.4 cm tall X 12.7 cm wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: It is in good condition. Provenance: From Mrs. Kwoh in New Jersey, by descent. The calligraphy by Liang Han*** and the Pu Ru couplets were given to Yang Shufang, Mrs. Kwoh's aunt. The calligraphy by Yu Youren was given to Guo Naiqi, Mrs. Kwoh's father-in-law.
