A Chinese Ding-style white glazed bowl dating from the Ming dynasty. There are 5 incised flowers in the interior and the exterior features lotus petals incised around the foot. Dimensions are: 2 1/2 inches tall X 7 1/2 inches wide, 6.4 cm tall X 19.1 cm wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: There is a chip to 1 side of the rim. Provenance: From the estate of Mr. Kwok Woon Kun, formerly a shareholder of Wing On Company, a well-known department store group in Hong Kong and Shanghai. This collection was collected in Hong Kong prior to Mr. Kwok's death in 1969. His collection was shipped to Canada in 1981 and was inherited by Mr. Kwok's daughter and grandson.
