Description

清天然水晶如意型筆洗 Qing Dynasty period. The washer carved in the form of ruyi head, the exterior flanked by pair of smaller leafy ruyi as handles, accompanied with a gilt bronze cloisonne enamel spoon terminated with gilt bronze mythical beast head on one end. Height: 1 2/8 in (3.0 cm) Length: 5 5/8 in (14.0 cm) Width: 3 3/8 in (8.5 cm) 此洗由整塊天然水晶整挖雕制，呈如意狀，質地晶瑩剔透，造型獨特，用料較大，可以將如此硬度的材料雕刻出柔美自然之感十分不易。配掐絲琺瑯勺，更為難得。洗，為文房用品中不可或缺之物，用以側筆或稀墨，多以瓷玉為之，水晶製品因加工難度大，因此顯得十分珍貴，亦可彰顯不凡品味。
