可能為西漢｜約公元前1至2世紀｜通高19.5cm/杯身直徑7.6cm｜半透明白玉，帶鈣化玉沁。整器分杯身與杯蓋兩部分，杯身的口沿和足部均鑲鎏金銅，中部鎏金環兩側分別一獸面銜耳環和獸首圈柄，並將器身分隔成兩段飾瑞獸紋的通景浮雕。銅鎏金杯蓋嵌三段玉環，頂部立瑞獸玉坐像，四周圍繞三隻鳳凰。三短足鑲寶石。配錦盒。｜此杯雕工精細，瑞獸刻畫栩栩如生，可比漢朝時期同類玉器。鈣化玉沁及鎏金銅的材質符合此年代特徵。｜參見哈佛藝術博物館收藏號為1943.51.22的造型構造類似玉杯。｜MUSEUM JADE CUP WITH BRONZE MOUNTING.｜China. Probably Western Han dynasty. Ca. 2nd/1st c. BC.｜Bright, buff colored, partly opaque jade with calcifications. Finely carved and polished. Bronze mounting gilt. The high cup is divided into two sections with a handle with a carnivore face and a movable ring in a taotie mask. In both sections different animals in an abstracted landscape under clouds. On the upper part two oxen, a monkey and birds, on the lower register a bear, a tiger and a dragon. On the slightly arched lid a liying panther and three fenghuang birds from bronze. In the stout legs with inlayed stones, which might have been replaced. Condition A/B.｜The style of this cup is similar to other Han dynasty jades.
