Description

汪昉（一七九九－一八七七），字叔明，號菽民，又號啜菽老人，江蘇陽湖（今江蘇常州）人。清書畫家。他的仕途經歷是道光二十四年（一八四四）舉人，官至山東萊州府同知。豪飲善詼諧。初遊湯貽汾幕中，與趙蘭舟、費丹旭朝夕論畫，因善山水。筆意松秀，墨法淹潤，不失元人規矩。中年所作，邱壑渾成，樹石蒼潤，頗臻妙境。惜晚年頹廢，頓失A奏致。書臨趙孟頫，姿態秀逸，間作分、隸、尤精鑒賞。有《夢衲貪集》。卒年七十九。《武陽縣誌、墨林今話續編、桐陰論畫、讀畫輯略、畊硯田齋筆記、清畫家詩史》。
