Chinese huanghuali mixed wood breakfront bookcase, 19th century, the superstructure consisting of a rectangular platform top, rising on block form stiles, supporting a galleried shelf, over the twin paneled door cabinet, opening to reveal two side by side drawers, over a single shelf, on block legs with scroll brackets, 68.5"h x 35"w x 15"d. Provenance: a Hong Kong Collector, purchased from C.L.Ma, Hong Kong during the 1990s.
