“美国五星上将”切斯特·尼米兹（Chester Nimitz）亲笔信，附证书此拍品为尼米兹将军于1955年7月28日致友人的亲笔信。切斯特·尼米兹（Chester Nimitz，1885年2月24日—1966年2月20日），美国海军五星上将。尼米兹早期以研究潜艇为主，而後成为美军中柴油引擎技术的专家。美国海军为纪念尼米兹，而将其去世之後所建造的第一艘、也是当时最新锐的航空母舰尼米兹级核动力航空母舰以他为名，也就是日後的尼米兹号航空母舰。
