STANDING GANESHA Bronze Nepal , 16th to 17th century Dimensions: Height 18 cm by 12 cm Weight: 695,4 grams Standing Ganesha, remover of obstacles, on a round lotus plinth with four arms. He is holding his usual attributes, although the hand holding the sweets is raised in front of his chest and the trunk is thus reaching forward grabbing the laddu ball. The head is big with small eyes and ears, a high headdress decorates his head. The belly is not as big as in other depictions.
