STANDING VISHNU Bronze India, 15th century Dimensions: Height 13 cm by 9 cm Weight: 427,7 grams The base is rectangular with a zig-zagged band. Vishnu is standing on a circular plinth. He has four arms, holding a kaudomaki or mace, the shankha or conch and probably the sudarshana chakra or discus and a mala or rosary. His whole body is adorned with big beaded chains and the face has a distinctive look with big eyes and lips.
