COUPLE SITTING IN ROYAL EASE Grey Schist Gandhara, 2nd to 3rd century Dimensions: Height 14 cm by 13,5 cm Weight: 1653,5 grams A couple of man sitting leisurely on thrones dressed in wavy robes draped over one shoulder. One arm of each figure is missing. The right man is holding an object and gazing to the front. He has a moustache and broad nose. Necklaces are hanging around his neck and he is wearing a turban. The other man is dressed in the same manner, gazing at the man with moustache as if listening to him. The back of the statue is flat.
