此拍品敞口弧腹,下承圈足,造型簡潔,修胎利落,胎體 輕薄,胎質精實,釉色瑩潤如玉。盤外壁通體及盤心以鬥彩工藝繪纏枝蓮紋,紋飾構圖縝密,描繪精細,釉下青花與釉上諸彩相互掩映,華美瑰麗。
雍窯鬥彩素以彩料清雅,繪工精巧而冠絕一時,正如《飲流齋說瓷》所評：「（鬥彩）康雍至精,若人物、若花卉、若鳥獸,均異採發越、清雅可愛……足為清供雅品,彌可寶貴也。」此時御窯廠之鬥彩瓷作,不但以仿明成化鬥彩為能事,而且積極借鑒西方藝術風格的繪畫手法和紋樣,本品即為一例。
