Records of Qing documents, In the 11th year of the reign of Emperor Yongzheng, 'on December 13, Jin Dapeng sent two yellow porcelain bowls and one yellow porcelain bell, which was read by Hai Wang, the Minister of interior affairs. He handed over the yellow porcelain bowl and bell to Nianxiyao's family, who was in charge of the house of internal affairs and forwarded it to the Jiangxi porcelain making office. He ordered to make a hundred of them and send them within one hundred days. The shape of the cup is beautiful and the fetus is white and delicate. White glaze on the inner wall and bottom, yellow glaze on the outer wall. The glaze is smooth and elegant, the glaze is bright and clean, and the charm is elegant.
Jiajing seal mark
黃釉始見於明代初年的景德鎮官窯，以後歷朝皆有燒造。明清時期，黃色為皇家專屬，對於黃釉瓷器的管理更是十分嚴格，不得僭越。雍正時期黃釉燒制水平較高，以勻淨、不事雕琢之美聞名於世。
黃釉杯，於清代稱為鐘。《清文件》記載，雍正十一年，「十二月十三日，茶房筆帖式金大鵬送來黃瓷碗樣二件、黃瓷鐘樣一件，內大臣海望看過。著將黃瓷碗、鐘交內務府總管年希堯家人鄭天賜轉發江西燒造瓷器處，照樣燒造一百件，限一百天內送來。」
杯形雋秀，胎質堅潔，輕盈靈透。內壁及底部施白釉，外壁施黃釉，釉色瑩潤淡雅，釉面光潔亮麗，神韻雅致具存。
