|高5.5cm；重117g|斋戒二字在《明史礼志》解释“戒者，禁止其外；斋者，整齐其内”。明洪武五年（1372）令诸衙门各制作木斋戒牌，刻文于上，文为“国有常定，神有鉴焉”。凡行祭祀则设置，《明史礼志》记载：“戒者，禁止其外；斋者，整齐其内。”清沿明制，凡大祀、中祀皇帝致祭，事前应斋戒，由太常寺进斋戒牌，清帝及文武官员祭祀时挂于身上，作警示用，亦为皇宫贵族佩带之饰品。|此件斋戒牌金质，选料华贵，形制精巧，做工精湛，富丽堂皇。斋戒牌呈方倭脚形，四周饰缠枝花卉纹饰，中心牌面开窗“斋戒”两字。上下孔穿绳，上搭配碧玺结珠，下结盘肠结及丝绦坠穗。整器做工繁复精湛，奢华无匹，纹饰细腻流畅，技法高超，处处体现宫廷制器雍容华美之风范。
