题识：吉祥。佛光山星云。钤印：星云、佛光山寺典藏、（佛像印） 释星云，出生于1927年8月19日，俗名李国深，法号悟彻，其信徒常称之为星云大师。江苏扬州（江都）人，十二岁于南京栖霞寺礼志开上人出家，是临济宗第48代传人。1945年入栖霞律学院修学佛法。1949年春，组织僧侣救护队来台湾。1967年创建佛光山，并出任佛光山寺第一、二、三任住持。
