A set of 3 Chinese double sided album paintings in watercolor and ink on paper by Liang Jinfeng. The album paintings include: 2 kingfishers in bamboo, 2 sparrows with pink flowers and yellow chrysanthemums, 2 yellow birds in grape vines, and 3 landscapes depicting rivers through mountain passes on silver-flecked paper. Each painting has 1 seal and is mounted on a cardboard backing. Dimensions: 13 inches tall X 9 1/2 inches wide; 33 cm tall X 24.1 cm wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: The corner is broken on 2 paintings; creasing is present in all. Provenance: From the estate of Lee Yuhuang. Mr. Lee was an accomplished artist in Hong Kong, where he was part of the Lingnan School, before he emigrated to San Francisco. While in San Francisco, he taught Chinese painting techniques and continued to collect Chinese paintings and calligraphy, a practice he had begun in Hong Kong. Items from the same collector were sold at our Fine Asian Art and Antiques auctions, September 2019.
