殳，周代时为五兵之一，古文作杸。 《说文•殳部》:以杸殊人也，又兵器。 《䆁名•䆁兵》:殳矛。殳，殊也，长一丈二尺而无刃， 有所撞挃于车上，使殊离也。又《周礼•夏官•司戈盾》注:殳如杖，长寻有四尺。据上述记载，殳是一种没有锋刃的似杖长兵。由 于古殳朽烂，保存甚难，1977 年 9 月湖北随县擂鼓墩一号墓出土有七柄自铭为殳的兵器，从而为了解古殳的形制提供了可靠的实 物资料。殳的器形极小，传世有序的更为稀有。
